So. I am back in Seattle. And, as busy as life gets, I somehow find that when I am here I have time to write. Granted, it's almost completely impossible to try and summarize the year that has passed in the interim, but for cohesion's sake, I will try.

October 2010- shipped to basic training.
December 2010- graduated basic, went home, then went back to SC.
January 2011-October 2011- Went to AIT, hurt my knee, had knee surgery (again), recovered from said surgery, graduated AIT.
September 2011- stationed at Fort Carson, CO.

Since September a lot has happened. Not sure how much I should expound upon. Perhaps I should isolate my rambling to my little world-view sphere rather than mentioning anyone else... suffice to say I fell in love. Fucking stupid. Why do I always do that?

Can't I have an awesome life sans the complications of the l-word?

Anyway. He's getting stationed somewhere else so I'm learning to let that one go. For now.

What else? Oh! I'm dropping my packet for OCS in January 2012- which means I'm going to submit it for review to become a commissioned officer in the US Army. About goddamn time... but it's not so easy. Officer Candidate School isn't notoriously hard but it's not a cake walk with three knee surgeries under your belt, either. So I have a good deal of work to do in the running department.

Let's do it, then. This is no time to be talking about it.

Ranger the Fuck Up.
